Major renovations in the temple

July 20, 2009  |  Category: News

The temple building is already around 35 years old. Many places developed lot of cracks and leakages etc demanding immediate all-round attention. Firstly the temple roof area above the Deity altars was rennvoted. To avoid any leakage in the future, after water proofing treatments the present roof surface was replaced with ceramic tiles. Water proofing and tiling will also be done in other areas of the roof.

The concrete sun shade all around the temple building was repaired and the surface floorings were replaced with ceramic tiles.
As the drainage system was old causing lot of inconveniences a new closed drainage system was laid all over the premises. The open garbage collection area was causing lot of dissatisfaction amongst the devotees due to the disturbance from monkeys and bad odours etc. Now we have constructed a new closed garbage disposal area to deal with the above concerns. The garbage collection tractors need not come into the premises and the garbage can be collected from outside only.
The Information Centre was renovated.
