The U.P Government in assistance with the local Municipality has planned to promote Vrindavan in a big way. Major renovations like road widening, constructing over bridges, bridge to cross Yamuna River are under progress. The approach road from Chatikara to Vrindavan has been widened upto the Police Check post near Krsna Balaram mandir. The visitors by road are very much satisfied with this.

Repainting of the temple

Temple Management has organized the repainting of the whole temple. Repainting working is in full swing. We expect the painting to be completed by September end. The last time the repainting was done around the year 2000.The cost of the painting is at about Rs.6 lakhs. Sriman T.K.Choudhary, regular donor of ISKCON,Vrindavan and other ISKCON projects, is partly sponsoring the expenses. (more…)
