Temple of Srimati Vrinda Devi

ISKCON Vrindavan’s Village Project at Nandagaon

In 1989, a temple of Shrimati Vrinda Devi and two sacret kundas, Vrinda Kunda and Gupta Kunda, were donated to ISKCON Vrindavan by Baba Madhav Das. Since then ISKCON has constructed a beautiful hand-carved sandstone temple for Shrimati Vrinda Devi and planted a garden on the land.

This opportunity to serve Shrimati Vrinda Devi at her eternal residence is especially significant because the importance of her worship is accepted in all Vaishnava traditions. Lord Krishna doesn’t accept a single offering without the presence of Vrinda Devi in the form of Tulasi Devi and it is only by her grace that a devotee is allowed entrance into Sri Vrindavan Dhama.
