ISKCON Youth Forum, Vrindavan (IYF)

Srila Prabhupada wanted Krishna consciousness to be introduced in the schools, colleges and universities so students would have an opportunity to become devotees of Krishna. ISKCON Youth Forum conducts many programs for students including seminars and full-time courses. The students appreciate Vedic wisdom and Srila Prabhupada’s teachings. Many students have applied the teachings of Bhagavad-gita in their lives even while continuing their studies. IYF also organizes Yoga Retreat Camps where students experience a spiritual life of high moral standards. All programs include chanting the Hare Krishna mahamantra and honoring prasadam.

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, especially the educated youth. By training students in spiritual culture the whole world can be benefited. As Sri Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita (3.21):

yad yad acarati sresthas
tat tad evetaro janah
sa yat pramanam kurute
lokas tad anuvartate

“Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow and whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.” IYF is training tomorrow’s leaders by giving today’s students spiritual culture which can benefit the entire world. Regular programs are held at IIT Kanpur, IT-BHU,BITS Pilani and other nearby schools and colleges.
