Where to get Prasadam

Maha Prasadam Stall

Delicious vegetarian bhoga offerings are made to Their Lordships six times daily at the Sri Krishna Balaram Temple. The Maha Prasadam from these offerings is available at the Maha Prasadam Stall situated at the entrance of the Sri Krishna Balaram Temple. There are many varieties of Prasadam at the stall.

• Specially prepared milk sweets offered at Mangala Arati
• Fruits, savories, sweets, etc.
• Full thalis from Raj Bhog offering (please make your order in advance)
• Cakes and pastries (also available on order for special occasions)
• Dry prasadam for travel

Devotee Prasadam Hall

Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM and lunch at 2:00 PM at the Devotee Prasadam Hall. No night prasadam is served.

Prasadam is free but obtaining a coupon is essential. Coupons can be obtained from the Temple Commanders Office in Krishna Balaram Land anytime from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 1:30 pm to 2:00 PM.

Please obtain your coupon well in advance to help us serve you better. If you are arriving in a group of more than 10 just before prasadam time or after 8:00 PM, please inform the Information Centre (by e-mail or telephone) so that we can prepare enough prasadam for your group.

New Govinda's Restaurant

We also have a small new Govinda's Restaurant in the Temple Guest House. Govinda's Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers pure vegetarian meals: a la carte for breakfast; full thalis for lunch and dinner.

You are welcome to take breakfast and lunch in the devotee prasadam hall. However, we also have a small new Govinda's Restaurant in the Temple Guest House, in case you wish to sample other varieties of delicious Krishna prasadam, including bakery items. Opening hours: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Visit MVT Restaurant behind Krishna Balaram Land for a variety of eastern and western prasadam.

Bakery

All pure 100% vegetarian foods without (onion and garlic). Karma free food offered to Lord Krishna with love and devotion. Timings: 7.30 AM - 12.30; 5.00 PM - 8.30 PM

Bhoga Bhandar
(only during special occassions)

All types of sweets like rasagulla, gulabjamun, rasmalai, balushai, sohanpapdi, khaja, kurma, jilabi, etc. Salty items: chiwda, vada, namkeen, etc.

Pure Filtered Water

Get pure filtered water for only Rs.3/- a litre (own bottle required) at the water kiosk next to the Information Centre.

Khichadi Distribution

Food for Life distributes free khichadi every morning and evening in front of the Krishna Balaram Temple to thousands of pilgrims.
