Samadhi Mandir of Srila Prabhupada

From 1965 to 1977, Srila Prabhupada toured the world thirteen times establishing 108 ISKCON centers in his lifetime. He continued to travel, preach and translate Shrimad Bhagavatam until he left this world on November 14, 1977 at his home in Vrindavan.
His disciples constructed a magnificent samadhi memorial in his honor at the front of the Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir. Across from samadhi is Srila Prabhupada’s biographical museum. Situated behind the Krishna Balaram Mandir is his original home, now preserved as a museum.

Quote of the Day
The special significance of Krsna's bearing a flute in His hands in Vrndavana is described as madhuri virajate. The form of the Lord with a flute in His hands is most attractive, and the one who is most sublimely attracted is Srimati Radharani. (Srimad Bhagavatam, 10.3.31, purport)
