“I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Supreme Lord, Hari, the congregational chanting of whose holy names destroys all sinful reactions, and the offeringof obeisances unto whom relieves all material suffering.” (Final sloka of SrimadBhagavatam, 12.13.23)

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acharya of theInternational Society for Krishna Consciousness, fulfilled the prediction of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu that His holy name would be heard throughout the world.

“In every town and village of the world, the chanting of My name will be heard.”

Inspired by the instructions given by Srila Prabhupada to take part in twenty-four hour kirtan, we experience a taste for chanting the holy name of the Lord: HareKrishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama RamaRama Hare Hare. Srila Prabhupada’s disciple Aindra Prabhu, took this instructionvery seriously and inspired us to expand the chanting of Hare Krishna in Sri Vrindavan Dhama by doing daily Harinam Sankirtana on the streets of Vrindavan.

The purpose of Vrindavan Harinam is to give everyone who visits Vrindavanachance to chant Hare Krishna and experience transcendental bliss and happiness. They can develop their love of Godhead and go back home to the spiritual worldinthis lifetime.

We have been going out on Harinama Sankirtana for the past three years inVrindavan Dhama. Even during the Covid lockdown we continued to go on Harinam. Our desire is to engage in Harinam for the next 9,500 years for the pleasure of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

The devotees who participate in Vrindavan Harinam come frommany different countries such as Ukraine, Russia, India, Columbia, Uzbekistan, Kazakstan andmanyother places. Though they were born in different countries, they consider themselvesto be part of one family, Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON family. They have close friendlyrelationships with each other by chanting Hare Krishna together. Sankirtanameanscongregational chanting the glories of the Lord. Harinama Sankirtan is performedbydevotees who have very deep, close relationships together in serving Sri Krishnaandguru.

All of the devotees of Vrindavan Harinama Sankirtana have dedicated their livestoSrila Prabhupada’s instructions. They chant minimum sixteen rounds of HareKrishna maha-mantra japa every day, follow the four regulative principles, attendMangala arati and study Srila Prabhupada’s books daily. Our Vrindavan Harinamafamily is growing and we invite you to join the Sankirtana Party. Soon we will have a bus and you can invite us to your town or village for kirtana.
